In August 2011 we have visited refugee barracks in bakoy village, Aceh, Indonesia. This barrack was used as a refuge of victims of the earthquake and tsunami in 2004. But until now there are about 250 families living in this barrack. From the results of our interviews with some of the refugees, the refugees survive because they do not get housing assistance either from government or from NGOs.
According to Abdul Hadi one of refugees who still living, it's been a year of their homes have been completed but not yet handed over by the local government. Now the houses are already occupied almost broken because it does not grow tall and the grass that almost covered the home assistance.
